Relaunch. Rebrand.
Originally in 2017, my first business was an event production company known as the Opulent Nightlife Group. We specialized in planning exclusive events for our guests. During the earlier times of the company, we produced several successful events. From annual black tie affairs in Buckhead to intimate dinner parties in the heart of midtown Atlanta. Eventually, we expanded into wedding planning, event planning, and hospitality. Through the ups and downs, I realized several things:
The brand message was unclear.
The logo and presentation did not exude luxury the way it should.
.The name of the company hindered . Guest were confused seeing a company with “nightlife” in its name producing events outside of the nightlife.
The nightlife and wedding industry are completely opposite. We enjoyed the process of planning weddings and celebrations. And decided to hype focus on that.
I wanted to create experiences that are tailored to the clients.
At the start of 2023, I launched a new business with a new, better, and clear vision. Events by Sean, a wedding planning firm that specialize in creating bespoke experiences for our discerning guests and clients. Our personal approach ensures our weddings celebrations will reflect our clients sense of style. Based in Atlanta and available to plan weddings and celebrations internationally. In order to convey the brand clearly, I took the time to invest in brand audits, coaching/mentorship, and luxury logo designers. Kaleigh Wiese is the best brand strategist you could ask for. She was able to pinpoint the areas of strength and the needs for improvement. I was fortunate to join Andrea Eppolito’s Coaching Program and have a close look at what it will take to plan, design, and execute weddings at the highest level. She’s more than a wedding planner. She’s an artist and a motivating coach.
When it was time to create the logo, these are the words that came to mind:
Timeless.
Bespoke.
Authoritative.
Fashion-Forward.
Uber-luxe.
Eddison Smith, owner of the Penthouse Creative, brought it to life. He gave the suggestion of using my initials of my name. Creating a monogram. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). And with this new logo, the company is limitless. I’ll be able to expand into other areas of the industry (i.e. bridal fashion, podcasting, interior design, writing). Rebranding your business is essential. This is just the beginning.
