Wedding movies can range from romantic comedies (known as rom com), to drama and high emotion. Some of them use the entire movie to lead up to the wedding and others have unforgettable scenes centered around two characters exchanging breath-taking vows.

One of the best rom-coms of all time. Jane Fonda stars as the crazy mother-in-law who is determined to get her son (Michael Vartan) to call off the wedding with the love of his life (Jennifer Lopez).

In this iconic rom-com, a beautiful couple (Paula Patton & Laz Alonso) bring their vastly different worlds and moms (Angela Bassett & Loretta Devine) together for an unforgettable and beautiful wedding at Martha’s Vineyard.
Sex in the City: The Movie (2008)
“A dress so special, it could bring a wedding tear from even the most unbelieving of women”. SATC The Movie has some of the best wedding scenes as they are both iconic and heartbreaking.
Father of the Bride (1991)
Steve Martin stars as a disgruntled dad who is caught by surprise when his daughter (Kimberly Williams) comes home and announces her engagement. He’s having a hard time letting his daughter go while also footing the bill for the entire wedding.

Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) comes to Queens, NY and hides his royal identity in hopes of finding a bride (Shari Headley) to love him for he is and not for what he has. The wedding scene and the bride’s dress is stunning.

The beautiful and talented wedding planner (Jennifer Lopez) falls in love with another bride’s handsome groom (Matthew McConaughey).

Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
A teacher (Constance Wu) is pushed into the world of Signaporean high society when she falls in love with one of the most eligible bachelors in the country (Henry Golding). This movie has one of the best wedding scenes in all of cinema. The water aisle is an absolute masterpiece.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002)
Nia Vardalos stars in this classic rom com working at her family’s Greek restaurant and notices a handsome teacher (John Corbett). He ask her out and of course, they fall in love. Only one big fat problem. He’s not Greek.
